The Busy Family's Choice for Survival Planning and Instruction

We all have busy lives. Family obligations are important.

Work, school, sports practice, dance lessons etc. are priorities many of us have come to know.

How about building a family emergency cache?

Are you ready for the day that you flip the light switch and nothing happens?  That first day many will be okay, but how about three days later, or worse yet, three weeks later?

Many people invest in their future by saving money, contributing to a 401k or purchasing insurance.  However, when it comes to unforeseen problems, be they natural or man made, many fine people fail to plan when it comes to basic survival needs for themselves and their families. Much like investing, preparing for emergencies doesn't have to be done all at once. Start small. Think in terms of 72 hour needs first. You can then build from there based on your financial situation and needs.

The prepper community is comprised of everyday folks that have one major thing in common...

PROVIDE THE BEST SITUATION FOR THEIR FAMILIES IF THE WORST CASE SCENARIO BECOMES REAL.

There is no "right" way that works for every individual or family.  Everyone must take into account their own situation.  Family size, economics, health, geography and training are all variables to consider.  We want to help everyone improve their disaster plan.
